Hello! I am Teacher Lydia. I am a licensed professional teacher with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English. I am a dedicated ESL teacher passionate about empowering students to achieve their language goals. I am a first-year student at the University of Liverpool studying International Relations. I went to school in Birmingham and studied History, English Literature and Economics A-level. I have a strong interest in the humanities, especially politics. I went to a Grammar school for my secondary and sixth form education so I have specific knowledge of the 11+ exam. I absolutely love mathematics and teaching/helping people but, ultimately, my passion is dance. On top of my maths degree, I am training to be a professional commercial dancer. I love dance, drama, drawing, painting - anything creative! I like to be creative when teaching as I think learning should be a fun, exciting and enjoyable experience. I have 9 GCSEs and 3 A Levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A) and Chemistry (A). I have just completed three years doing Mathematics at the University of Manchester and have decided to stay on for another year in order to get a Master's degree in maths!
