I'm Ellen, your friendly maths tutor! When not unravelling the mysteries of numbers, I'm into yoga, swimming, and weight training, ensuring daily exercise. In 2018, I proudly received my PGCE in Mathematics Teaching from King's College London, following my (2:1) Chemistry BSc (Hons) from the University of Manchester in 2017. Throughout my academic journey, I attained A*, A, and B grades in A-Level Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, respectively. For GCSEs, I secured 3 A*s, 5 As, and 2 Bs. With this strong foundation, I'm committed to providing supportive guidance to my students as they navigate the world of mathematics.

Usually my tutorials consist of going through questions on the student's chosen topic(s) together to build confidence and understanding. However, I am very flexible and can give more in-depth explanations of concepts, go through past exam papers, help with homework, or anything else that will support the student to achieve their personal best. I am happy to help learners from KS3 up to GCSE, including adults who may be taking their exams later in life. Additionally, I have some experience with learners who have additional learning needs, such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have been tutoring high school students since September 2022 and previously tutored undergraduate maths for three years. Hi everyone I am Shruthi, and I study Business Management at the University of Southampton. I am looking forward to tutor Maths as it is a subject I have always been very passionate about. I miss Maths as I do not have it in my degree, so I would love to carry on my passion for Maths through tutoring. With my experience with tutoring, I do believe I would be able to help students with throughout their Maths journey. Other than the academic side of things, I also take an interest in music and dance, hence I have completed all my graded examinations in these hobbies.
