If you had to describe me concisely, I am an adrenaline junkie who loves imparting his knowledge and learning from others. I love teaching and provide students the utmost care and attention in order to bring the best out of them and mould them into the better version of them holistically. I have an experience of teaching students of 4 years with the students ranging from being GCSE to A levels. I have taught Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths to students in both A levels and GCSE. My students have all gone to achieve 7s and above in the respective subjects that I teach. My classes are usually fun and interactive and not all about studies all the time, as we learn about many things besides the book knowledge in class. Other than that, because I am in university, I usually can relate to my students and understand them as I also fall under their generational demographic compared to much older teachers.

Levels and Subjects I teach: I’m an English and History teacher with GoStudent. I can teach these at GCSE and A Level. As a professional writer I can offer academic and creative writing classes to adults and higher level students. I am a teacher of environmental science. I have an MSc in Conservation Ecology and extensive field experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Having studied and worked as a professional actor, I can also offer Drama/Acting classes to A Level. Languages: Apart from English, I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker. Preferred student age groups: I prefer to work with students from 10 years and older (to adults), however I have worked with students from 6 years up. About me: I have been a professional travel, environment, and creative writer for the last 20 years, and a teacher for the last 9. I have a background in acting, drama and conservation ecology and when it comes to teaching I draw on these skills to make my classes as fun, dynamic, and interesting as possible. I often use roleplay, music, media, and games to enhance students learning and understanding. Learning is so much easier when it’s fun and thought-provoking. I teach students from young children to the executives of large companies. Outside of my roles as teacher and writer I have also worked as an actor, journalist, conservationist and professional mountain and nature tour guide and tour designer. I love wildplaces. When not working, I love hiking, film, theatre, acting, travel, snorkelling, diving, photography, and martial arts. I also run workshops in creative writing.

Hi! I'm Catherine and I am currently a second year chemistry student at Loughborough University. I took GCSE triple science where I achieved a 9 in chemistry, 8 in physics and 7 in biology. I then took A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, where I achieved an A in Chemistry. I also achieved a first (75.3%) overall in my first year of university. In my free time, I play the piano, bake and compete in dance competitions! I am passionate about making a difference and helping students realise their potential. I am a dynamic and compassionate tutor, with the ability to adapt lessons to specifically meet each students unique needs. I aim to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and develop their progress in their school subjects.
