Hi, I'm Nadha :), I'm currently a second year medical student and enjoy studying & tutoring biology in my spare time. Sessions with me are usually discussion based; this means we'll talk through topics together to identify any gaps and develop your understanding. We'll identify your strengths & weaknesses to personalise your sessions with spaced repetition and also strengthen your exam technique with past exam questions. In my free time, I enjoy journalling, going on walks, spending time with family & friends and watching the occasional k-drama :) I look forward to meeting you soon :)

I am a very approachable, kind, patient and encouraging tutor! My style of teaching is welcoming, relaxed and friendly. I have completed an Understanding Dyslexia Diploma and a SEND Diploma each at Level 3/150 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. I specialise in tutoring English as a first language (UK curriculum) and a second language (ESL) and have taught students of all ages and abilities (children and adults) all around the world. I have around 3,000 hours of online tutoring experience online, (mostly) teaching one-to-one but I also tutor in small groups. I adapt my lessons to the needs and abilities of the individual child or adult. No two students learn the same way! I may use flashcards, videos, puppets, songs and learning games, trying to make my lessons interesting and fun as I believe that students learn best when they are engaged and enjoying the lesson. I love doing all sorts of crafts, for example crocheting, painting rocks and making sock toys. I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with an MPhys physics degree in which I proudly achieved a first with honours. At heart I am inquisitive and hungry to learn, and I love to pass on what I've learnt to those around me. Hello! I'm currently a medical student in my 4th year of university. I've been tutoring students for a couple of years now and it's something I really enjoy! I've tutored secondary school students in Biology and Chemistry using a range of resources like PowerPoints, whiteboard activities and practice exam questions. Lessons are tailored to students to make them as interactive as possible and focussed on individual student targets, whether this be a focus on learning content, exam technique or revision tips. I'm also happy to answer any questions related to higher education following GCSEs, in particular for any aspiring medics!
