I am experienced SEN TA working as an Intervention Teacher with those who have fallen behind particularly with reading, comprehension skills, writing, maths work and SATs. I have a BA Hons degree English Literature, Language and Primary Education. I live on a small holding in the middle of rural Somerset with my husband, 2 sons and animals. I enjoy teaching especially when the weather lets us learn outside. My hobbies are cooking, reading, doing puzzles, riding, yoga, and watching my sons play rugby and their water sports. Currently studying Modern History with Economics at the University of Manchester, I have experience teaching a wide range of history GCSE and A Level topics. The topics I have the most experience is in: Nazi Germany, The Cold War, Medicine through time, Anglo Saxon and Norman England, 20th Century Russia (1894-1924) and Britain during the 17th century (1625-1701); given the wide scope of history modules I study at University, I have a broader understanding of history - especially modern history. In addition to this, I am qualified and able to teach AQA GCSE English Language/Literature - including texts such as the Inspector Calls, Power and Conflict (Poetry), and Macbeth/Romeo and Juliet to a high level given my success at GCSE and A Level for English. As a tutor I would bring an infectious passion to continuous learning and improvement, helping students realise that commitment and hard work can take you far. Having been in the fortunate position of being taught by exceptional teachers, I am grateful for them helping me become the person I am today; I will strive to embed their values and principles in my own teaching, hoping to make a similar impact on the minds and hearts of the future generation. I am a 35-year-old English teacher from Ireland. I have a passion for both teaching and academic content development which I have enhanced throughout my academic and professional career. I studied English, Media and Cultural studied for my BA degree where I had the opportunity to explore and practice journalistic, academic, and creative writing. In my job as an English instructor, I am always trying to find creative ways of teaching. I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language as well as in literature and media studies. I have studied English and American literature and poetry. I have developed and created English courses for language centers and I have written and edited an English coursebook series.

Hello! My name is Abdul Rehman Mohsin. I am an undergraduate student of mechanical engineering. The subjects I teach are Alevel and GCSE Maths and Physics, GCSE chemistry and Alevel Philosophy and theology(or simply philosophy). I have achieved A*s in Alevel Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, so I can help you achieve the same. I can also help you out with Alevel Further Mathematics. Having been a part of the national physics team for my country for the 2020 IPHO, my physics is also quite strong. Although I did not study philosophy in my Alevel, I was always interested in the subject. Having read quite a few books, articles/papers and having watched so many debates, I have a good grasp on the basics and I continue to delve deeper. Therefore, I am confident that I can teach Alevel Philosophy. Now moving beyond academics, I am a big video games and anime enthusiast, so if you are a red dead or a one piece fan, we can have a lot to talk about. Addtionally, my hobbies range from reading lots of philosophy to playing strategy games such as chess or Age of Empires 3. I completed my A Level in 2020.
