Hi, I'm Ka. Originally, I come from Macau, China. I have lived abroad in the Netherlands, the UK, and Spain. Throughout my adventures, I have also embraced the role of a teacher for over 5 years. It has been a rewarding and fulfilling journey, contributing to the growth and education of others. These diverse experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a commitment to lifelong learning I graduated with first-class honors from Business School in the Netherlands. Following my academic achievement, I embarked on a fulfilling career journey, serving as a teacher assistant and tutor for over 5 years in London. During this time, I gained invaluable experience in educational support, curriculum development, and student mentorship, contributing to the academic success and personal growth of many students.

I'm currently undertaking an integrated masters in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-level, and also in EPQ (which is a form of assessed personal project that many schools encourage pupils to take to strengthen their university applications). I have also studied and taken Oxford's Physics Aptitude Test (the PAT), which is a prerequisite for Physics and Engineering at Oxford. Teaching approach: My teaching approach involves planning and creating detailed lessons materials, synthesizing textbook material into bitesize information for young students to teach them in an enjoyable and interactive environment. Visual aids, practice questions and interactive activities (particularly for young students) are incorporated into each lesson and post-lesson feedback is provided to the parent/student, including all PowerPoint slides and other lesson materials used during the lesson and any homework if preferred. Additionally, academic progress is monitored via an initial key topic list (detailed on the first slide of the PowerPoint slides) which is updated after each lesson, including progress on individual focus areas of improvement for the student. Moreover, if the parent/student prefers, comprehensive reports of academic progress, topics covered and key areas of strength and improvement can be sent every two months.
