I am a passionate chemistry enthusiast with a master's degree, dedicated to elevating student success. I've Proudly guided previous mentees to achieve top grades, paving their way to prestigious Russell Group universities. I'm committed to unlocking students' academic potential. I have a degree in BSc Chemistry and MSc Chemistry. During my Masters, I did research by developing drugs to treat cancer by developing novel drugs that have a maleimides functional group to target proteins that cause cancer. My research was ground-breaking and is currently being published in Journals. Some of my previous students have gotten into Russel Group Universities and some are currently studying Medicine, Dentistry, Computer Science and Pharmacy! Now, with almost a year experience of tutoring under my belt, I feel that teaching is the right career path for me. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and will put in all my effort to help you improve. I am currently studying towards a Masters in Astrophysics at UCL and achieved top grades at GCSE and A-level. I have experience in senior maths and physics challenges, entrance exams for universities and general exam technique and problem solving. In my free time, I mainly enjoy playing table tennis, however video games, drawing, learning languages (French at the moment) as well as TV/anime also interest me. I am originally from Lebanon.

I'm Fiona. I'm a fourth year medical student at KCL. I am really passionate about learning and I hope to encourage a similar passion in others. I enjoy reading and writing poems and short stories, teaching and everything to do with science!

Levels and Subjects I teach: I’m an English and History teacher with GoStudent. I can teach these at GCSE and A Level. As a professional writer I can offer academic and creative writing classes to adults and higher level students. I am a teacher of environmental science. I have an MSc in Conservation Ecology and extensive field experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Having studied and worked as a professional actor, I can also offer Drama/Acting classes to A Level. Languages: Apart from English, I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker. Preferred student age groups: I prefer to work with students from 10 years and older (to adults), however I have worked with students from 6 years up. About me: I have been a professional travel, environment, and creative writer for the last 20 years, and a teacher for the last 9. I have a background in acting, drama and conservation ecology and when it comes to teaching I draw on these skills to make my classes as fun, dynamic, and interesting as possible. I often use roleplay, music, media, and games to enhance students learning and understanding. Learning is so much easier when it’s fun and thought-provoking. I teach students from young children to the executives of large companies. Outside of my roles as teacher and writer I have also worked as an actor, journalist, conservationist and professional mountain and nature tour guide and tour designer. I love wildplaces. When not working, I love hiking, film, theatre, acting, travel, snorkelling, diving, photography, and martial arts. I also run workshops in creative writing.
