Hi I'm Jay, a friendly and very experienced English tutor and English student at the University of Manchester. I have 4 years of experience teaching GCSE English Literature and Language in schools and online and am also a published poet and journalist. Hello! I am Nia, I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with 5 years tutoring experience. I am a friendly, understanding and approachable person and love helping students excel in Maths and all Sciences. Aside from my academic studies, I love fitness, playing the piano, and painting! I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, hence I have a very strong background in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. My GCSE results were 9 A*s and 1 A and A-Level results include A* in Maths, and 3 A's in Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths. I have also completed several biology modules during my university course.

I love to travel, read, eat and try new activities! I like learning about different cultures and the history behind the cultures. I took up running during the pandemic and my aim is to one day run a half marathon and once that's achieved, run a full marathon. I love teaching and am very passionate about it. I did GCSEs in Maths, English, Science, RS, Drama, ICT, Business Studies, and got additional qualifications such as Critical Thinking AS Level when I was in secondary school. My A Levels were in English Literature and Language, Accounting and Economics. My Batchelors degree was in Accounting and Finance and I proceeded to get a PGCE after a year of doing a Maths Enhancement Course to qualify to teach Secondary Maths.

I am consistently doing maths on a day to day basis on my university course but when I'm not studying I tend to spend my time either playing football and rugby or meeting up with friends. Studied 11 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels (Maths, Chemistry and Physics) I am now studying for a combined Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University
