My name is Aarzu and I've been teaching English and Primary level Maths for 3 years. Teaching is one of my biggest passions, along with writing and film. I believe in the importance of understanding the material, rather than simply learning it and my goal is provide you guidance to achieving that. I tailor classes according to the student's needs and guide them towards building their confidence. I keep my classes engaging, light and well-rounded to help students achieve advanced communication and other essential learning skills for academic and professional success. I am an international student from India, currently in my final year of a Bachelor's degree in English and Film Studies Joint Honours at the University of Leeds. I have studied Economics for 4 years and taught it for 2 years before joining university, along with Political Science and French. I am highly passionate about teaching, in addition to which I ran a special creative writing workshop for primary and secondary school children every week for 2 years, to enhance their storytelling abilities. I have also been working as a freelance writer for the past 3 years, having completed projects for multiple international companies.

I can teach English and Maths at a primary school level. I can also teach English and History at a GCSE Level. Furthering this I have experience with OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel. My first language is English and I can speak this fluently. I can understand both Urdu and Punjabi and speak Punjabi at a basic level. I prefer students at a Primary English and Primary school level. I have got an LLB Law degree and currently doing a Masters in Law. I did Alevels in English Language, Law and Sociology and achieved grades BAA. I enjoy reading a range of fiction and none fiction books. I also enjoy playing sports and I am a part of the local netball and football team

Hi! I'm Pia. The subject I teach is Mathematics at primary school level to GCSE level and also GCSE and A-level Biology. I understand that maths and biology can present difficult challenges and having received tutoring for both subjects, it has really helped me to understand and enjoy the subjects a lot. I hope to be able to help other students develop their confidence and learn to enjoy maths and biology too! I completed 9 GCSEs, including an A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and also completed my A-levels with an A in Maths and Biology and B in Chemistry. I am currently studying Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. Even though I am not studying a mathematical course at university, maths has always been my favourite subject throughout school. I used to really struggle with exams and tutoring helped me to achieve the best grades I could get. My goal is not only to help students understand maths and biology so that they can also excel in their exams but also to make it fun and approachable!

I am hugely interested in fitness/health and attend the gym several times a week in addition to road/trail running. My focus is to complete an Ultramarathon towards the end of 2022. Furthermore, I have completed a diploma in sports & exercise nutrition. I love keeping my brain stimulated and read a wide variety of subjects from psychology/negotiations to space & engineering.
