Hi! My name is Rad and I study Medicine at the University of Leicester. I love teaching and working with people to tackle problems in creative ways, and simply passing down my knowledge I've accumulated over the years. That's why I've been involved in mentoring since the start of sixth form! I have achieved A*A*A* in my A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and 9s in my GCSEs for Maths and the Sciences respectively. I hope to meet wonderful students here, and help you understand concepts that seem daunting :) I will be teaching the curriculum, covering the specifications accurately. I have extensive knowledge of the mark schemes and what examiners are looking for, so I will also be helping you improve your exam technique. In a typical lesson, we would go through what difficulties you've been facing and try to tackle them from various angles. This includes breaking down concepts into simpler stages and working our way on top of them. I am a firm believer of having a strong foundation down, so I will make sure that your fundamental concepts are understood well. I have taught a variety of students, including from Year 9 to Year 13.

Hi everyone! I am Rifah, a current first year medical student. I have already gained a bachelor's and a master's degree in the field of science, so it is safe to assume that I enjoy learning all things scientific! I also enjoy teaching science (and maths) which is why I have been tutoring both subjects for the past 6 years. I have experience tutoring one-to-one but also in a small class setting, where an actual classroom teaching is mimicked. However, during my one-to-one lessons I like to focus on my individual's student's needs and weakness, tailoring my help to what is the most beneficial for them. This is why I always ask for feedback from my students, and incorporate their ideas in my lesson to make it more engaging and fun. Nevertheless, I ensure that we cover all basis for what is needed to better their school performance. I am very familiar with all the exam boards offered by British schools (such as AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC), thus I am confident that I will be able to help everyone to the best of my ability. Given my academic background, I can also help with personal statements and entrance exams required for Medicine.

Hi! My name is Winnie and I'm a native English speaker from London. My highest level of education is a Bachelors Degree and I am currently an Online English Tutor with almost 3 years of experience.
