My name is Sheryl, a TEFL-certified educator with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Education. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English Language Education (MAELE). I specialize in teaching English across all levels—Basic, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. My expertise includes Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Grammar, Business English, Conversational English, English for Academic Purposes, and Reading Comprehension. I also offer homework-based lessons to provide additional support and reinforce learning outside the classroom. With six years of experience in teaching English as a second language, I have worked with students of all ages, from primary school to tertiary levels. I firmly believe that with the right motivation and guidance, learners can achieve remarkable progress and success. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I can teach Geography at GCSE level or below (preferably below) I am most familiar with Edexcel and AQA exam boards I have experience with the whole English schooling system I only speak fluent English About me: I am a sociable, passionate, and determined person who thrives when interacting with other like-minded people. I am an undergraduate student in my second year at Bournemouth University, studying Geography. My hobbies are photography, nature, and football. Skills gained from my past experiences, both in the workplace and out of it, will enable me to communicate with my tutees, colleagues, and parents. I attained all of my taken GCSE's and A-Levels In my GCSE's I obtained a 6 or higher in English, Maths. Geography and Physics. In my A-Levels, I obtained a C or higher in Government and Politics and Geography. Outside of education, i participated in Scouts for 11 years which provided me with many life skills which I use in most experiences.
