I teach GCSE English Literature/language and A level English Literature. I'm 20 years old and study English Literature at the University of Durham. I’m in my second year of university and my favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I have my bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards as well as my Chief Scout gold award.

I am an engineering university student with a diverse educational background from different countries. Owing to my diverse experience, I am able to teach using varied curricula, adopt different systems, and incorporate appropriate approaches to meet the needs of the students. I am still a student, so I have first-hand experience with what students require from a student's perspective. Although I have around 3 years of experience working as a part-time tutor, both online and physical,  I have been tutoring as a volunteer for about 8 years now.  I have worked with students from different parts of the world of all levels and ages. Aside from teaching as a career, I am passionate about it because I aspire that "learning should be fun." I teach because I love it, because I enjoy it, and because I want to help the student improve in the most amusing way possible. As the saying goes "if you do what you love, you will do it with passion," and I am here to help the students realize that they love learning.

Hi, Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the arts of London and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. I am the most comfortable et preppared to give lessons from Primary to GCSE level (A1 to A2), with the AQA exam board. I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. I am passionate about making learning more fun for my pupils because that way they'll learn better. I am very good at explaining difficult concepts in different ways so that all students understand.
