After 20 years of secondary school classroom teaching in English and History, I am branching out into online teaching. I taught in London, at Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and have since taught in South Africa, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I run Parkrun, grow and sell organic vegetables, and enjoy wilderness walking. After A Bachelor of Arts in History and English, at Wits University in Johannesburg in 1984, I did a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Education, in English and History. I then taught in London and South Africa for nine years, during which time I qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Applied Linguistics, from Wits University. In 1998, my family and I went to Vancouver, British Columbia, for me to study a Masters Degree in Theology. We returned to SA in 2002. In 2016, I graduated with a PhD in History, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled for my TTA TEFL certificate, Level 5, to qualify and teach EFL, from April 2025.

Hi! I’m Tia and I have been tutoring for over 2 years now, specialising in Geography, Business, History and Sociology. I have in-depth experience of GCSE and A-Level content, meaning I am able to plan your lessons effectively and deliver them in a coherent way. My name is Christopher Jordanou, I am 19 years old and I study finance at Bayes Business School. I teach A level Economics(edexcel)and can teach GCSE business studies(Edexcel) and GCSE Maths(Edexcel). I have been teaching for over a year now. At A level I studied Economics, Geography and Maths. I had achieved an A in Economics A level. I currently study finance BSc at Bayes Business School City University of London.

I teach GCSE English Literature/language and A level English Literature. I'm 20 years old and study English Literature at the University of Durham. I’m in my second year of university and my favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I have my bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards as well as my Chief Scout gold award. I have a set of GCSE’s in grades 6-9 (8 and 9 in English subjects), I studied English literature, geography and sociology at A level and achieved all A’s in these subjects. I am currently a second year student at the university of Durham. I spent a few months at my secondary school gaining work experience as a teaching assistant.
