Hello! My name is Isla, and I am a passionate tutor studying Primary Education at the University of Winchester. I have over a year of tutoring experience and have spent time in a student teach role in Primary Schools working with all abilities and SEND. I am also studying SEND as a specialism. My love for teaching stems from a desire to make a positive impact on young lives and help students reach their full potential. I have a comprehensive knowledge in all areas of education, having achieved highly in both GCSEs and A-levels. In addition to my formal education, I have also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through teaching placement in schools. This has allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in real-life situations and has helped me to develop a range of effective teaching techniques. I believe that every student can succeed, and it is my goal as a tutor to help each student reach their full potential. Whether a student needs support in a specific subject areas or help with study skills and exam technique, I am committed to providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My approach to tutoring is centred around tailoring each session to meet the specific needs of each student as I believe that every student is unique and that a one-size-fits-all approach is not effective. Instead, I work closely with my students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to develop a customized plan to help them achieve their goals.
