Ahmed Ali, I am 21-year-old medical student . I have unwavering dedication to medicine is complemented by a fervent love for sports, showcasing a dynamic blend of discipline and passion. My inquisitive nature propels my studies, while i reckon i have a competitive spirit which thrives on the sports field. Balancing the intricacies of anatomy textbooks with the thrill of the game, I think embodies resilience. Beyond the confines of academia especially being a Chelsea fan 😂. i love football and the gym.

About me: I have worked teaching and tutoring adults and children in Canada, Mexico, Israel, China, and the UK in a range of contexts. I have been an Outdoor Educator in Hong Kong and mentored Master’s students in Canada. I have worked on inspiring youth through environmental projects as well as in traditional school settings. I aim to create engaging, and dynamic learning environments tailored to the needs of each individual. I look to excel student understanding through combining my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm. I want students to feel empowered to continue learning and achieving their goals in all areas of life. I was brought up in the UK where I completed 11 GCSEs all at A and A* levels. I then completed the IB Diploma in Hong Kong, after which I moved on to BC Canada to complete a BSc with distinction in Environmental Sciences and Geography. I was involved in different editing and writing platforms as well as managing different environmental projects on campus. I am passionate about outdoor sports and have been lucky to enjoy multi-day kayaking, hiking, climbing, and surfing trips all over the world.

Many of these key skills in teaching have been gained through experience in part-time work as a volunteer assistant teacher, educational programs, and personal projects, while also picking up many skills from my parents given they are also teachers. I am Currently learning Spanish and Arabic and have recently taken up indoor climbing and in particular bouldering as a hobby. I enjoy reading and researching about not only topics associated with Chemical Engineering but on many different subjects, from geography to psychology, particularly through attending seminars and creating strong relationships with those from other disciplines. I enjoy travel and experiencing different cultures. Having travelled to Russia, North America, and Europe. Recently travelled to Geneva to take a guided tour round CERN, observe the LHC and converse with many leading minds at the forefront of scientific discovery.

I am from London and a student who loves to read and write on my blog. I'm also passionate about the personal and educational growth of young people, especially tackling social inequality through tutoring. I feel it is important to build a strong rapport with students whilst delivering subject knowledge in a way that is fun, effective and inspiring
