Working as a Maths, English and 11+ tutor for the past 7 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching children aged 4 to 16 from various backgrounds. My job role includes working with children whom had special educational needs and those who speak limited English therefore I believe it to be vital that each individual’s way of learning is taken into account, through organising imaginative and stimulating projects to motivate the children. I believe patience to be extremely important when tutoring any child and I am certain that I am able to carry forward these skills when teaching your child. I have also worked as a music teacher for the past 3 years, teaching composition to children aged 7 through to 11 whilst additionally conducting individual singing lessons and leading the choir. I successfully organised lesson plans in line with the curriculum objectives and continued to present a dynamic delivery to the children. Through this role, I was able to support the improvement of the children’s confidence in composition and performance, whilst working closely with colleagues and liaising with parents to ensure that children were both learning and enjoying their education. I have a strong passion for both children’s educational progress but additionally their respective self-development. At A Level, I obtained an A* in English Language, A in German, and A in Music. I additionally hold an Algebra Level 3 award. I have achieved a Diploma in Music and Grade 8 in singing.

I have just completed my MSc in Big Data and Financial Analysis, having received a distinction. Before this I studied Human Geography at Swansea University, and became the treasurer for the society! I chose both these courses as I like to know why the world functions as it does, and what better way to understand this than the political, economic and social geographies; as well as the business/finance world! In my spare time I enjoy running, football and rugby; I also love to ski! I am an undergraduate studying Biology at Imperial College London. I have always had a passion for teaching, having been doing so throughout all my studies. I enjoy teaching Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, and hope to pass on my passion to the students.

I am a second-year Geography with Economics at Loughborough University. I have been tutoring professionally for almost three years, specialising in Maths and English curriculums up to GCSE level. I am also proficient in my knowledge of multiple 11+ exam boards in all four subjects. I consider myself a friendly, reliable tutor who is determined explain things in a way that's understandable to each of my students specifically.
