I am a very approachable, kind, patient and encouraging tutor! My style of teaching is welcoming, relaxed and friendly. I have completed an Understanding Dyslexia Diploma and a SEND Diploma each at Level 3/150 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. I specialise in tutoring English as a first language (UK curriculum) and a second language (ESL) and have taught students of all ages and abilities (children and adults) all around the world. I have around 3,000 hours of online tutoring experience online, (mostly) teaching one-to-one but I also tutor in small groups. I adapt my lessons to the needs and abilities of the individual child or adult. No two students learn the same way! I may use flashcards, videos, puppets, songs and learning games, trying to make my lessons interesting and fun as I believe that students learn best when they are engaged and enjoying the lesson. I love doing all sorts of crafts, for example crocheting, painting rocks and making sock toys. Having grown up in Spain for half of my life (15 years) I have always had a passion for languages and travel. I speak English and Spanish bi-lingually and so decided to undergo a career change from sales and marketing to a career in teaching languages as I believe they are so important. I want fulfillment in my career and the opportunity to meet people who are more like-minded sounds very exciting. I believe I am a passionate tutor, professional and fun with good energy and a positive outlook on life and look forward to the challenges ahead. I have lived and worked in Sydney, Santiago, Paris and Barcelona and have been fascinated by the amount of people who recommended me to begin a career in education. I am an aeronautical engineering student at Loughborough University. I got A* and As in Maths, Physics and Product Design at A Levels. I am also part of the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Loughborough Fighting Robotics Society, and the Afro-Caribbean Society. I got an A* at Maths A level with over 90% in all my A level papers, I did Further Maths at GCSE obtaining an 8 and got a 9 in normal Maths. I have previously tutored my siblings enabling them to also get 8s and 9s at GCSE. I can't wait to help your child also gain these remarkable results whilst I make it enjoyable for them.

I am a former research scientist and now a professional tutor, and I offer tuition in biology, physics and chemistry GCSE and chemistry A level. I employ a steady pace with the student and frequently return to previously covered material to reinforce understanding. Wherever possibly to attempt to link the material covered to something relatable to the student. I strongly believe that every topic, if properly approached, can be a source of fascination. In my spare time I write science fiction novels, and am currently working on my first fantasy novel.
