Having grown up in Spain for half of my life (15 years) I have always had a passion for languages and travel. I speak English and Spanish bi-lingually and so decided to undergo a career change from sales and marketing to a career in teaching languages as I believe they are so important. I want fulfillment in my career and the opportunity to meet people who are more like-minded sounds very exciting. I believe I am a passionate tutor, professional and fun with good energy and a positive outlook on life and look forward to the challenges ahead. I have lived and worked in Sydney, Santiago, Paris and Barcelona and have been fascinated by the amount of people who recommended me to begin a career in education. Hi! I'm Tom, 21 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.
