Hi, I’m JJ, an experienced and passionate tutor who’s been helping students reach their academic goals since 2021. I specialize in guiding students through their 11+, GCSE, and A-level exams, tailoring lessons to fit their needs and ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared. Whether it's taking a student struggling with maths and helping them pass, or pushing someone to achieve even higher grades than before, I’m here to make a difference. As a Master’s graduate in Aeronautical Engineering, I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of complex subjects, which I bring into my teaching. My engineering background helps me break down tricky topics into simpler, more approachable concepts that my students can grasp. I also have a proven track record of working with students of all abilities, including those with learning difficulties like dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. I focus on making lessons engaging, supportive, and flexible, so every student can thrive. My goal isn’t just to help with exam prep, but to inspire a love for learning and help students build the confidence they need to succeed. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me? That moment when a student calls on results day, thrilled with their achievements. Knowing I’ve played a part in helping them get there is what motivates me the most. If you’re looking for a tutor who’s committed to helping you reach your full potential, I’d love to work with you! Having grown up in Spain for half of my life (15 years) I have always had a passion for languages and travel. I speak English and Spanish bi-lingually and so decided to undergo a career change from sales and marketing to a career in teaching languages as I believe they are so important. I want fulfillment in my career and the opportunity to meet people who are more like-minded sounds very exciting. I believe I am a passionate tutor, professional and fun with good energy and a positive outlook on life and look forward to the challenges ahead. I have lived and worked in Sydney, Santiago, Paris and Barcelona and have been fascinated by the amount of people who recommended me to begin a career in education. I hope I get the opportunity to fulfil this dream with yourselves and I look forward to tutoring here and beginning my PGCE in September! Qualified with all GCSE's at A to B across the board in 9 subjects (A*in Spanish!) I have 3 A Levels: Spanish A / English Literature B / French B I have a BA from King's College London (2:1 with Hons) in Hispanic Studies (2014) I am finishing my TEFL 120 course currently.

Hi! I'm Tom, 21 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.
