I have completed my A levels in maths, economics and Spanish and hope to help younger people who would like a bit of assistance in their studies. I also take part in competitive sports therefore I can understand the struggle of managing both academics and extracurriculars hence why I can provide support, advice and understanding in this aspect. My name is Hayden, and I am a current student at the University of Lincoln, I am studying for a BA in Accounting and Finance. I am passionate about this subject as my 2 favourite subjects at GCSE and A-level were Maths and Economics and my course is a perfect combination of both. Problem solving is my favourite aspect of maths whereas Economics interests me as it applies problem solving to the economy and it affects everyone from governments to the consumer. My favourite hobby is travelling and experiencing different cultures. There is so much to learn and experience from visiting different countries and people. Travelling feels rewarding and expands your knowledge and appreciation. My tutor sessions will begin with a consolidating question from the previous weeks content to check that the student still understands the content. The main part of the lesson will be content and there will be integrated practice questions throughout. I will always end the lessons with a small quiz on the topic covered in the lesson. The results will determine next week’s lesson based on the students understanding. When tutoring students, I believe the most important thing is to have a creative and innovative approach to enable the students to understand and engage in the lesson. I achieved high GCSE's and A Levels in maths, and I am currently predicted a 1st class honours degree in Accounting and Finance. I have been tutoring for the past 2 years and really enjoy the rewarding feeling of helping students achieve their goals. I can help students build their confidence and knowledge in maths, and help them with revision and exam techniques. My aim is to make the lesson as beneficial as possible for the student and each students lesson is tailored to their preferences and abilities.

I have five years experience of tutoring Maths and Physics. I have also taught A-level Maths lessons in a sixth form whilst a qualified teacher was observing the lesson. During this experience I learnt how to develop different explanations for the same concept on the spot and this has been a very useful skill. I use this experience during my lessons and am able to adapt to individual students quickly. I like to make my lessons interactive and write on an online whiteboard in real time so that the student can actively take notes. I use a stylus to write on an online whiteboard which allows the lessons to be more efficient. I emphasize understanding of a concept during my lessons, a high level of understanding will allow students to apply what they have learnt in their exams. I am currently a Theoretical Physics Student at Royal Holloway University of London and wish to become a Professor of Mathematic Physics. I am very good at simplifying difficult concepts and explaining them in a visual way, it is difficult to get this level of understanding in schools and I well help compensate this. I will use my years of experience study physics and maths to teach the concepts in the most efficient and useful way possible. I enjoy tennis, football, badminton and basketball. I've captained my school teams in Badminton and Cricket. I also enjoy running and aim to run the London marathon next year so I have to train very hard. Studied GCSEs in London where I obtained eight grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 7, an A* in Further Mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I also studied my A-levels in London where I obtained 3A*s and 2A's in Maths, Further Maths, EPQ, Physics and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at Royal Holloway University of London.
