Hi! I am a music student studying at the University of Manchester. However, I achieved an A* in A level Maths and have experience in maths tutoring. I take a communicative approach when tutoring; asking the students to explain their thinking so I can better understand any gaps in their knowledge. Despite my lessons costing you anywhere from £21.99-£30.50 for the 50 minutes, I recieve £13 either way with GoStudent taking 41%-57%. I have experience with tutoring for GCSE AQA exam boards and A Level OCR exam boards. Furthermore, whenever I meet a new student I will be sure to ask which exam board they are learning and research the spec and some practise papers in preparation for our lessons.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. I completed my GCSEs with a strong academic performance, achieving an A* in Mathematics and A*-C grades across all other subjects, reflecting my well-rounded abilities. Building on this foundation, I pursued A-Levels, where I excelled in STEM subjects, securing an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry, and a B in Physics. These results showcase my analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in Maths and Sciences, positioning me well for further study or career opportunities in related fields. My academic journey highlights a consistent dedication to learning and achievement in challenging subjects.

Hi! I'm Tara a law student at Cardiff University. I love travelling, surfing, reading and just being out and about in general.
