I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. I have been a tutor with GoStudent for 6 months and haven taught over 100 lessons. Currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at King's College London GCSEs = All 9's. I am currently a Business & Management student at Royal Holloway, University of London. Aside from academics, my interests widely range from music, dance, sports, and reading. When I find interest in something, I try to learn and teach myself as I have with dance and the Korean language. I have high expectations for myself and encourage my students to do the same for themselves. I am also told to have a very easy going personality so I have a great rapport with my students and they find me easy to communicate with and ask me questions. Alongside my A-Levels, I have completed an EPQ in which I earned a B. The question of my research was about meditation, its benefits, and whether it should be made obligatory in school settings. It included investigating, collecting, and summarising primary data and as well as an initiation to implement meditation in my school as part of the well-being program. It gave good results and also spread awareness of this very beneficial practice. Other than that, I have attended courses on leadership as well.
