Hi, I'm Ruby and I am currently at Durham University studying Theology. I give one-to-one online tutoring sessions in GCSE and A-Level History and Biology. I have a flexible teaching style that can cater to your learning needs. Having recently completed my A-levels in Modern History and Biology, I know how difficult learning the content (as well as exam technique) can be. I'm here to make that as pain-free as possible! In my free time I like to crochet and go indoor bouldering.

I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I would love to focus on taking A-level students at the moment. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

I am a second year undergraduate student at the University of Manchester studying for an MPhys Physics with Theoretical Physics. In my spare time I like to play the violin, classical guitar, and read lots of books. I hope that I'll be able to pass on my love of physics and maths to you!! I’m a Geography student at the London School of Economics. When I’m not doing university work, I enjoy drawing, painting, and reading books. I love watching films, and ‘Coraline’ is a particular favourite of mine. Music is another passion of mine—I’m a big fan of Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, and Blur. I’m excited to share my love of learning and help others reach their academic goals! I completed my secondary education at Barking Abbey School, where I achieved 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 8 to 9. Following this, I pursued A-Levels in Art (A*), Geography (A), and History (A), developing a strong foundation in both the arts and humanities. I am currently studying for a BA in Geography at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I am in my second year. My degree has allowed me to explore a wide range of topics, from human and urban geography to environmental and economic issues. I’m eager to use my knowledge and experiences to support others in their learning journey.
