Hi! I'm Catherine and I am currently a second year chemistry student at Loughborough University. I took GCSE triple science where I achieved a 9 in chemistry, 8 in physics and 7 in biology. I then took A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, where I achieved an A in Chemistry. I also achieved a first (75.3%) overall in my first year of university. In my free time, I play the piano, bake and compete in dance competitions! I am passionate about making a difference and helping students realise their potential. I am a dynamic and compassionate tutor, with the ability to adapt lessons to specifically meet each students unique needs. I aim to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and develop their progress in their school subjects.

Ai N.
Levels & Subjects Taught: - GCSE Maths - A-Level Maths - Beginner level Japanese Exam Board Experience: - Edexcel for GCSE - OCR for A-Levels Languages: - English - speak Japanese at home Preferred student age group: - GCSE and A-Level About Me: Hello! I'm Ai and I am a second year Bioengineering student. I am able to teach GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. Whether you are struggling to understand a concept or wanting more practice , I would love to help you develop a confidence in Maths as well as foster a love for the subject! Maths has always been one of my favourite subjects throughout my time at school and now at university, my appreciation for it has only grown. How it links into various aspects of a range of subjects fascinates me and I believe that approaching the subject from a different angle allows for a better understanding. I am also fluent in Japanese since I speak it at home! My hobbies include running and playing and listening to music. Education: For my GCSEs I did the Edexcel specification for Mathematics. For A-Levels, I studied Maths (OCR), Physics, Biology and Music and am currently studying towards an engineering degree. I also have a Diploma in Piano and Grade 7 Bassoon. Languages: I speak English as well as Japanese at home!
Brian A.
Hi, I'm Brian Angelo Limon, a mechanical engineer with a passion for teaching math. My engineering background has strengthened my problem-solving and critical thinking skills, which I now use to make math fun and accessible for kids. I focus on hands-on activities and real-life examples to show how math can be exciting and useful. My goal is to help children build confidence and a love for learning, setting them up for success both in and out of the classroom. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). I focus on designing energy-efficient systems that improve indoor comfort and air quality while promoting sustainability. I'm passionate about creating eco-friendly solutions that meet clients' needs and contribute to a greener future.
Connor W.
Hi everyone! My name is Connor, I am a PhD candidate in Cardiovascular Disease, Licentiate of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and the student representative for the Faculty of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience (PPN) at the University of Bristol. In my spare time, I am often walking my two dogs and cat (yes, you did read that correctly), tending to our small, modest garden or brushing up on my paintwork. My tutoring methods are highly individualistic and learner-centred: it is all about you and your aspirations, as it rightfully should be. By incorporating a holistic approach, we will work together on building your confidence, learning how to effectively manage stress and how to tackle difficult exams questions, regardless of the topic. As a previously undiagnosed and unsupported learner with ADHD, growing up in an isolated community and later, becoming a full-time carer, I frequently heard that "further study isn’t for people like me". After achieving First-grade classifications in my BSc in Biomedical Science, MSc in Pharmacology & Drug Development and the IBMS President's Prize for outstanding achievements, I beg to differ. I am now confident that no tutee should ever feel as if further study "isn't for people like them". I can personally testify that learning does not have to be a painful, slow and frustrating experience it is frequently portrayed as. Let me help you achieve your goals, “re-learn how to learn” and discover your scientific passion through reliable, engaging and tailored tuition.
Shehrbano P.
Hi! I am a recent Law and Politics graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I grew up in Pakistan but then moved to London for my studies. I am passionate about any subject that allows critical thinking. I enjoyed public speaking while at school and university as it allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge and be analytical. I am also an avid reader, anything from true-crime novels, historical fiction to drama and poetry. I love dogs and have the cutest cocker spaniel named Chloe. I believe in a truly be-spoke approach to tutoring, no two students are the same. I wish to develop long-lasting relationships with my students and help them achieve their goals.
