My name is Lily and I am a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my first year studying a joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage students and adapt my teaching methods to the student in particular to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible. I teach biology, law and Spanish after studying them at both GCSE and A-level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in these areas to students who are keen to learn of all ages. We can have fun whilst we learn as I truly believe you learn the most and remember the most when you are enjoying what you are doing. Outside of studying and tutoring I love to play instruments like the guitar and the piano, and I also kick-box and dance. I love to keep myself busy and to help elevate others to be the best versions of themselves which is why I love to tutor and possibly one day teach in a different country. GCSES: Maths-8 English Literature-9 English Language-9 Physics-9 Chemistry-9 Biology-9 History-9 Music-8 Spanish-9 A-Levels: Law-A Spanish-B Biology-B EPQ-A I am currently doing a joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations at the University of Leeds. I hope to teach Spanish in Spain in my third year at university.

With a solid educational background including a Bachelor's, MSc, and PhD in Biology, my expertise spans a wide array of biological disciplines. For higher education, my specialisation lies in biomedical science, reproductive and developmental biology, and translational medicine. I have completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and the English Language as well as, an AS in Physics and Sociology. Every session is an opportunity for collaborative exploration and active participation. My academic journey, augmented by my roles in proof-reading journal articles, MSc and PhD theses, has fortified my grasp on complex scientific concepts. This knowledge equips me to not only elucidate complex theories but also highlight their practical applications. My journey in education extends beyond my own studies. I've had the privilege of instructing undergraduates and mentoring junior researchers. This experience has honed my ability to tailor teaching techniques to diverse learning styles, fostering an environment where questions are encouraged, and curiosity is celebrated. My goal is to help students grasp a better understanding of the subjects that they are studying at GCSE/A-level and primary school studies, helping them reach their academic goals, either through practising formal exams or to improve their academic skills. Together, we will plan out a suitable approach and timeline to achieve these goals. It is immensely satisfying for me to be able to incorporate my passion and knowledge for science into teaching experience. With a solid educational background including a Bachelor's, MSc, and PhD in Biology, my expertise spans a wide array of biological disciplines. Hello. My name is Tara, and I am a fourth-year Dental Student at Newcastle University. I grew up in London and moved to Newcastle in 2021 to start studying Dentistry. I very much enjoy the course, and we are now starting to see patients, which is very exciting. Aside from my studies, I am the Dental Netball Captain for the University, so I organise matches. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, and the first job I got was when I was 16. I worked at my local Kumon centre tutoring primary school children in English and Maths to prepare them for the 11+ entrance exam. Since starting University, I have been an online tutor tutoring KS3 and GCSE students in Maths and Science.
