I'm Mary, an Exeter University graduate with a first class English honours degree. I am an experienced tutor having tutored both online and in my local community for two years. I have familiarity and experience with the UK English curriculum, having taught 11+ English, Key Stage 3, Creative Writing, GCSE English Language and Literature, and A Level English to many students around the local area and online. I have taught a myriad of students from different exam boards and always take care to cover their specific curriculum with them before they begin. I also regularly review topics we have studied together in the past and will go through planning responses to exam style questions using my brainstorming method which students seem to find very helpful! My name is Imad and I am currently on a gap year with a guaranteed place to study medicine at the University of Liverpool this year, having attended a grammar school prior. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine, and I have much experience tutoring in the last two years offering both a private service as well as tutoring friends and family through 11+, GCSE and A-level exams. In these two years, I have managed to perfect my teaching style to get the most out of my students. My teaching style is heavily interactive, placing emphasis on students finding answers on their own with my guidance for better understanding. My proven track record demonstrates my ability to effectively convey complex concepts in a manner that is easily understandable and relatable to students. In 2015, I took the 11+ exam, securing a place at all 5 grammar schools that I applied to. Eventually, I went on to attend King Edward VI Grammar School (KEGS). At GCSE level, I gained five grade 9's, four grade 8's and three grade 7's. This includes a grade 9 in all subjects that I tutor. At A-level, I gained A*, A*, A, B in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and EPQ.

I am a passionate Primary School Teacher that loves to help our next generation of young minds to progress and achieve their goals! I am very enthusiastic and my goal is to make learning fun and memorable. I currently teach Year 3 but have experience across all the year groups up to Year 6. I also tutor for 11+ preparation and currently have two 11+ students. I currently have a couple of slots due to Year 6 children moving up to Year 7.
