I'm Tom, a biology student in my 3rd year at university. My final year studies have focused on DNA over 400 years old! I enjoy playing tennis, cooking & baking, science & history media and getting out into the great outdoors! Currently studying Biology at the University of Portsmouth specialising in Molecular genomics I have also studied sociology, psychology and biology 10 GCSEs A*-C including: Biology - B Chemistry - A Physics - B Maths - A English Language - A English literature - A ECDL IT Skills - Distinction

I am currently studying Medicine at the university of Liverpool :) I love to read and also am a huge fan of baking. I also love to be active and play a bunch of different sports and go for walks. My family are from Sri Lanka which is amazing, and I love to travel when I get the chance to. I achieved all 9s in GCSE apart from an 8 in Drama and Physics. I also did four alevels and achieved a A* in Mathematics, A in Biology, A in chemistry and a B in further maths. I am currently studying medicine at the university of Liverpool. During school I especially enjoyed my maths and chemistry and currently do really enjoy learning biology whilst at university. I have also taken part in a great deal of extra curriculars and have taken on a lot of responsibility like being Head girl .

Through these experiences I have been able to learn how to work alongside my students such that we are both learning; as I learn to become a more intuitive teacher and they strengthen their academic understanding.
