Hello! My name is Rebecca and I'm an experienced tutor with a mathematical physics PhD. Within the last year, I have completed over 1000 tutoring sessions in both physics and mathematics helping many GCSE and A-level students achieve the best possible grades. I believe all students can learn to love mathematics and physics, so while my sessions focus on teaching content and exam preparation, I also give time to helping students really understand concepts and increase their desire to learn. I can understand Spanish and French at a beginner/intermediate level, but my comprehension is better in writing. Therefore, I have high patience and some language knowledge for those with language barriers. Preferred student age group: Any. About me: Hi! My name is Courtney, I am 24 years old, and I am a full time Practising Care Supervisor for a care company. I am also a recent graduate having a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Science (Hons) at the University of Kent. Whilst I was in my 3rd and final year of University, I had gained 1 year of tutoring experience in person with 1st and 2nd year students. In my free time, I enjoy doing some art, hiking and socialising a lot with my friends. I also enjoy meeting new people in my job and in my personal life.

I am a recent graduate of mechanical engineering from Lancaster University. I am passionate about learning in all its forms and I firmly believe that any sudent can do great at any subject, it all just depends on how good the teacher is at making the material acessible and fun.

I am a multi-instrumentalist. I play seven instruments and I love singing. I started playing the electronic organ when I was seven years old. I continued my musical education playing in the school orchestra and concert band. The Guthlaxton concert band travelled all over Britain performing in competitions. It was great fun! I have my own recording studio and have recorded some songs (on Spotify) . I really enjoy gardening , knitting and nature. I am a complete animal fanatic . Once , I wanted to be a wildlife photographer. I also enjoy swimming in the sea and going travelling to warm countries . The furthest i have travelled is to Sri Lanka where I saw fire flies and baby elephants. What an amazing experience. I believe music is a real gift and want to share this gift with other people. I have three grade 8 s with the ABRSM in clarinet, flute and piano . I also have a grade 5 alto saxophone grade too. I studied GCSE music , A level music and a degree in music . I have been teaching for twenty years in schools as a peripatetic music teacher. I have taught privately and online. I teach seven instruments including singing . I studied a diploma with the Open University also .
