Hi! My name is Sarah and I study Biomedical Science. I will graduate next year and I hope to continue onto a Master’s in Neuroscience. In terms of my tutoring experience, I work mostly with primary and secondary school children so and I have taught across the board. I absolutely adore English Literature and my favourite genre is psychological thriller but I am also trying to delve more into the Classics too. I am also an aspiring writer too, currently attempting to finish my first fantasy novel! I have experience teaching SEND students too, so don’t hesitate to reach out! I am currently completing a Master's degree in Bioinformatics. I have studied English Literature, Biology and Psychology. Within my current degree, I have studied various modules such as clinical genetics and human disease, microbiology, metabolism and physiology and cell signalling and physiology.

I am an optimistic, energetic and happy young man who likes new challenges. I am very social and I like to make others feel comfortable. I am a musician as well as a sports person. I’ve been playing the drums since the age of 7 and the piano for about 3 years. I play every Sunday at my church and can also teach these instruments. I used to run for a local sports club and compete for them on a county level. This helped me a lot with team work and also leadership.

Enthusiastic and passionate, I am currently studying for a masters in maritime archaeology at the University of Southampton. My main archaeological interests are concerned with dynamics of the nautical environment as well as the study of pathologies in relation to ergonomics. Alongside studies my hobbies include competitive, as well as wild, swimming, archery, bouldering and hiking. I also play the clarinet and piano. Currently completing my PGCE in Science (teacher training), I have a masters in maritime archaeology from the University of Southampton and an undergraduate degree in archaeology from the University of Glasgow. My main interests in teaching are the sciences (listed below), however I do also teach geography , history and English to A-Level. - KS3 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) -KS4 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) - KS5 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

Levels and subjects you teach: I can teach maths at A level and lower Exam boards experience: AQA , Edexcel Preferred student age group: GCSE/A Level I use my communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts in simple terms. My responsibility in my role, is to assist students when help is required. I have gained skills in time management and teamwork. Also I have experienced professionalism and have had to be flexible and resilient to complete a given task. Dedicated professional student currently studying towards A Mathematics degree at Queen Mary University of London. Having achieved such excellent grades at GCSE and A level, I now move with care and passion in my studies, allowing myself to be prepared for upcoming challenges I may face, ensuring that I always perform to the best of my ability. My motivated mentality to always achieve the best I can, will aid my journey to a successful and secure career.
