Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. I am a dedicated and passionate maths tutor who has experience for over 4 years in tutoring for SATS, GCSE and A-level students. I have an effective way of explaining key concepts clearly to student’s in an engaging and collaborative manner. My patience and experience allow me to adapt easily to the student’s needs. I tailor each lesson to the student’s specific needs who often have varying learning paces and styles. I've secured A* in Economics and Psychology, and an A in Maths at A-levels. Additionally, I attained all 7,8,9s in my GCSEs, showcasing excellence in subjects like Maths and Business Studies.
