Hello! My name is Rebecca and I'm an experienced tutor with a mathematical physics PhD. Within the last year, I have completed over 1000 tutoring sessions in both physics and mathematics helping many GCSE and A-level students achieve the best possible grades. I believe all students can learn to love mathematics and physics, so while my sessions focus on teaching content and exam preparation, I also give time to helping students really understand concepts and increase their desire to learn. Hi, Im Lia! I'm a second year psychology student at Loughborough University. Studying psychology, I am constantly learning about people and the way that our brains work both individually and together. This includes studying the most effective ways to learn and recall information. My AS and A-Levels consisted of 3 core subjects, so I have an array of expertise when it comes to exam technique. With my goal of becoming a secondary teacher, I am really looking forward to bringing my passion and enthusiasm to the virtual classroom. I already have a few years experience tutoring secondary students, so have discovered firsthand the best ways to engage and assist my students in whatever way they need. I am a strong believer in the importance of practicing exam questions and their structure when it comes to revision. Therefore within my sessions, I will discuss areas and topics that you may be finding more difficult, find a new way to explain it to you, and finally complete as many past paper questions surrounding the topic, to ensure that you receive all the marks, and therefore the grades that you deserve. I'm excited to hear from you! I studied an AS in Maths (Grade A), and essential core subjects at A-level: English Literature and Language (Grade A*), Psychology (Grade A*) and Biology (Grade A). I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Loughborough University, and once having graduated next year, am look to further my teaching career by completing a secondary PGCE in Science with Biology at University of Cambridge.

In my spare time, I like to stay fit by doing boxing, practising yoga and going to the gym! I also enjoy being creative by painting and drawing, as well as knitting and crochet.
