Hey there! My name's Bill, I'm currently studying Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough University. I took Physics, Maths and Further Maths at A-Level. My hobbies include athletics, which is a big passion of mine, I compete in the 100 and 200m. I also enjoy reading, cooking and just working on improving myself each day. My name is Janet but my students call me "Miss Jay". I am a passionate Biology teacher who has taught students from 8th to 12th grade. I am fervid about making Biology learning fun, this is whyI have adopted, adjusted, and used different strategies to ensure that my students understand and enjoy learning. As a teacher, I take time to interract, listen, and understand the peculiarities of each of my students. Hi everyone! I'm Cheanne. With over ten years of experience teaching math in primary and secondary school, assisting learners in mastering challenging concepts has been my great pleasure. My expertise spans teaching lower level, GCSE, and A-level Mathematics. I prioritize understanding and appreciating the diverse experiences and learning preferences of my students, aiming to instill in them the confidence needed to excel academically. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive environment where each student feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential in mathematics. I am a Licensed Professional Mathematics Teacher, holding a Master's degree in Mathematics Education. I am dedicated, patient and caring with ten years experience of working in a primary school classroom setting. Until now, I have been working part-time as a teaching assistant and therapeutic support staff at a SEMH resource unit within a mainstream primary school. I have also been called upon to offer therapeutic support at a similar resource unit at a secondary mainstream school. My responsibilities involved supporting pupils / students in class during lessons and offering emotional support through various one to one interventions. Working at the primary school allowed me to have a good insight of the primary school education. Currently, I work with Education First Kids Online UK, where I mainly teach young learners on a one-on-one bases. The focus is on English grammar, vocabulary, reading and conversation, as part of EF’s blended learning model. I am also a Preply English /German Tutor and with over 800 teaching hours, I organize, plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a variety of teaching methods depending on individual learning needs. I use a rage of lesson materials provided by Preply as well as other resources available. I am fluent in German (native language) and fluent in English. I am interested in artistic and creative activities, such as art, music and dancing.
