My name is Amina and I am Politics and Sociology graduate from the University of Manchester. My qualifications and experience are heavily people-focused and I have recent tutoring experience as a TEFL tutor (Teaching English as a foreign language). I am friendly, punctual and a keen teacher. I love to listen to and create music, and I have recently delved back into reading. I also love to sing and dance (though my neighbours may not enjoy my singing as much!) Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I am a fun loving but empathetic and dedicated teacher who has a passion for psychology and the English language. I love to help people, and help them achieve their goals. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist who also enjoys reading, spiritual matters, cooking, baking and dancing.

Hello! I am 19 years old and currently in my second year of studying Biological Sciences at Exeter University. I am very keen to tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology. I am particularly interested in animal health, but I do have an overall passion for all things Biology. I hope my previous experience in tutoring and mentoring will help to encourage students to work towards their academic goals, as well as having fun and finding a passion for science!
