I hold a degree in Clinical Pharmacology and have a strong foundation in science, particularly in biology, chemistry, and pharmacology. With experience in academic study and a passion for teaching, I aim to help students build confidence and understanding in their subjects. My approach is patient, tailored to individual needs, and focused on achieving measurable progress. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students! I completed my A-levels at Westfield Academy in 2021 in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. I then pursued a BSc in Clinical Pharmacology at St George’s University of London, where I gained extensive academic and practical experience in the field. In my second year, I undertook an independent research project on Mu Opioid Receptors, collaborating with a doctor who supervised my work. This involved conducting lab experiments, analyzing data, presenting findings to course team members, and authoring a comprehensive research paper. I also completed a placement at St George’s Hospital, where I collaborated on a hospital-wide survey about the treatment escalation plan (TEP). My responsibilities included organizing and conducting the survey, analyzing results, creating informative materials for distribution, and presenting findings to medical professionals during a grand round. In my third year, I engaged in various written research projects on topics like menopause and conducted a detailed research presentation on a drug of my choice. I successfully completed an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), further enhancing my clinical and analytical skills. My academic journey reflects my strong commitment to research, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge.

My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I studied a range of subjects including History, Spanish, French, English literature, Physics and Maths.

Hi! My name is Rameet and I’m currently in my third year of university, with my chosen course being English Literature. I believe English is the key to achieving a greater understanding of the wider world in terms of its social and historical aspects, and that in improving your English skills, you are not only improving your written, but also verbal communication skills simultaneously, which is required in future life. Within my tutoring, I expect to provide students with the necessary help they need to achieve the best grades possible so that in the future they can reach their full potential. In turn, I also expect my students to become active learners - participating in their lessons fully, and asking questions when concepts aren't understood. Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I love seeing wonderful personalities and interests come through, so I look forward to meeting you soon! Outside of tutoring, I am involved in marketing communications. In my spare time I like to watch movies, videos on dog grooming, skincare & perfumes, spend time with friends and bake (when I can).
