I am a university associate lecturer in Biology, Natural Sciences and Earth, Environment and Ecosystem Sciences, and I am also a secondary school science teacher (PGCE / QTS). Available to tutor GCSE, IGCSE Single Sciences Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Combined Science, (AQA, OCR and Pearsons). Available to tutor A-level Biology, Human Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Natural Science (OCR and AQA exam boards). I speak French, some German, a little Italian and Spanish and love all things international, am a big fan of the United Nations (UNESCO) Education for Sustainable Development and the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (which I promote in my teaching practice), as well as ESD (Education for Sustainable Development). I also love sailing, kayaking surfing, wild swimming and snorkeling. I am a qualified RYA dinghy sailing senior instructor (I used to race 470 sailboats as part of the British Sailing Team). I also love music and playing percussion (Brazillian samba) and am part of a local community street band.

I am a university student studying material science and engineering with a passion for creating change in society with whatever I do whether little or small. I've been tutoring and peer mentoring for the last few years now however I am eager to learn new skills and take a different approach so I am beginning to venture within the world of online tutoring. Hi, I'm Josh, an 18-year-old from Norwich, UK. I'm currently enjoying my gap year before I leave to study Economics at Sheffield University. I'm currently working as a mentor in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at a leading UK Sixth Form, where I was a previous student and mentoring online outside of this. Despite my relative youth I also have previous experience mentoring GCSE maths at a local high school and privately. Additionally, whilst in Vietnam, I taught English to prospective IELTS students. Outside of mentoring, I enjoy racquet sports, running and skiing as well as good books and good music.
