The GoStudent platform gave a long time delay between speech and visual which made it difficult to understand Debora sometimes. But she was very patient and constructive in teaching me new words. I enjoyed it.

Subjects taught: GCSE: Maths A-Level (IB): Maths Exam Board Experience: AQA at both GCSE and A-Level, although i think the content covered in A-Level maths is now the same across all UK exam boards. Preferred student age group: A-Level, however GCSE students are still welcome. Hi! I'm Saugat and I finished my A-Levels in June of 2023. I enjoy playing basketball, volunteering and watching MMA. My goal is to provide subject-specific strategies to make challenging topics as as intuitive as possible for students, giving them the knowledge and confidence to tackle a whole range of problems. Whilst at Sixth Form, I studied A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving 4 A* grades. I've also obtained 8 GCSEs at Grade 9 (including maths), alongside an A in Additional Maths and 2 Grade 7s in English Language & Literature. I am currently studying B.sc. Computer Science & Mathematics at the University of Manchester.

Lower Level: Maths, Biology, Chemistry GCSE: Biology, Chemistry A-Level (IB): Biology, Chemistry Exam Board Experience: AQA, OCR, EDEXCEL Languages: Italian (fluent), English (fluent), French (Basic) SEND experience: During my time in sixth-form, I took the opportunity to tutor students struggling with learning difficulties. Here, I developed key skills which proved extremely useful for their progress e.g., altering my communication to their level of understanding while giving relatable and fun examples, ensuring that the students are actively engaged by asking continuous questions to assess their understanding, and each new lesson I conducted with each student was started with a quick recap of the previous lesson. I noticed that these small steps proved extremely useful in the long run for the child's academic progress. Preferred age group: GCSE (However I can also teach A-level and Primary School children) A bit about myself: I am charismatic and enthusiastic Barts and the London School of Medicine student, with a willingness to learn and grow in any field despite the challenges that may be presented. I consider myself well-rounded, excelling in both academics as well as sport e.g., Football (My favourite!) and have passion for social interaction. Through exposure to tough situations as well as reading books on the topics I have honed my emotional intelligence and communication skills which I have since applied to provide help in various avenues such as education. I've had leadership roles such as Headboy of the school and thus have developed strong rapports with students who look at me as a role-model as well as their parents, especially during information evenings where I had conversations on how "parents could best support their children". As a fluent English and Italian speaker, I've acted as a bridge and advocate for foreign students to make them feel integrated in the community. This has also proved useful when teaching students who's first language isn't English as my fluency in another language allowed my to better understand the students I've worked with. I am a published author who is passionate about writing short stories as means of expressing issues that many children are faced with. One such issue is bullying and I have published a book titled Scars the Bullies and The Bullied which aims to inspire readers to take action against bullying. I will work alongside my students, supporting them along each step of the way so that in the end, they can excel; not solely academically but also in life. Medicine Student at Queen Mary's London A-Levels: A*A*A (Psychology, Biology and Chemistry) GCSE: 999999876,Distinction* (Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, French, RE, English Literature, English Language, Sport Studies) Other Qualifications: Nuffield Research Project certificate, STEM SMART Certificate, Brilliant Scholars Programme, Extended Project Qualification on "Who would be Liable if a surgery went wrong during Robotic Intervention"
