In addition to University I work at a charity called Sandwell Parents for Disabled Children, so I have previous experience with children, as well as that I have two siblings with Autism so I am familiar with interacting with people with Autism My hobbies include playing chess, as part of my university's chess team. And reading, particularly a lot of fantasy books. I also have previous experience with Drama which I believe has made me into a well-spoken individual who can express himself clearly, which is key for being a tutor.

Hello! :) My name is Cécile, I am twenty-four years of age and in 2021, I graduated from De Montfort University with a Bachelors Degree in Drama. I currently work full-time as an Insurance Consultant but the highlight of my week, is supporting students on their academic journeys! :) I have been delivering high-quality teaching in both, face to face and virtual settings, for almost five years. I have also been established as a tutor on GoStudent since January 2022. On the 4th of January 2024, I received my 500th lesson Certificate from GoStudent and from January 2022 up until present, I have delivered over 660 lessons through his platform, alone. This consolidated my understanding of the performing arts education policy, pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment in a time of educational, economic, technological and social change. It also allowed me to construct innovative ways towards lesson exploration including within the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) sector. I can confidently say that I have explored the place of the performing arts in the evolving English education system and in the early years, informal, community and therapy settings.
