Teaching background: I have taught and teach KS2 Maths and English (all levels at Primary school). I am patient with students and allow them to learn at their own pace. I split most of my classes into 40% teaching (explaining the subject), 35% work and 25% going over the answers and areas where the student has struggled with. I generally set homework depending on if the parent requests so. General background: Hello there :-) I am Denise and I am currently a Business Analyst in tech and love problem-solving puzzles, especially Sudoku. Also enjoy cooking, socialising, travelling, playing badminton, reading and hiking. Really passionate about helping others (including being a compassionate neighbour at St Christopher's Hospice) and I would someday love an opportunity to mentor students. ...

I am a British international Teacher with many years of teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools in London. I have found that teaching smaller groups online allows me to focus on the individual student's goals. Additionally, this allows me to build a relationship of trust and confidence. I love supporting my students in becoming fluent speakers. I like engaging my students and encouraging them to ask questions, speak freely, and have fun while learning. I am passionate about helping non-native speakers to learn English, which in turn allows them to dream with enthusiasm. Lastly, I love to support my students to become confident, independent learners. Additionally, I strive to empower my students to be critical thinkers and to dream with enthusiasm. Simply put, I love teaching and I find it immensely rewarding. Hi! I'm Venus, a final-year medical student and part-time tutor. I have a passion for teaching and have been tutoring for over 4 years now. I try to have an open and friendly classroom where my students can learn whilst being themselves and look forward to their teaching sessions. Here are some testimonials from previous students: "I honestly couldn’t have gotten my grade 9s without Venus! She made everything so much easier to understand and was super patient when I didn’t get something right away. The sessions never felt stressful because she always created such a friendly, relaxed environment, so I didn’t feel embarrassed asking questions. They really helped boost my confidence, and I always felt like I could actually get through even the hardest topics. I’m so thankful for their support" I achieved grades 8-6 in GCSE English Literature, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology. I also achieved A*AAB at A level in Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, and Core Maths. I am familiar with AQA, and OCR exam boards in KS3 and 4.

Hi! I am 4th year medical student currently studying at the University of Leicester. I am a tutor who will focus on where you feel your weak spots may be and help you build confidence in those areas. I always adapt to my students style of learning so they can get the most out of their sessions ! I teach GCSE Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
