Previously, I was an assistant in a Pupil Support English class for a year. I assisted students in various ways, such as helping them to read, write and create stories. I am going into my third year of university, studying English Studies. I received all unconditional offers. I achieved an A in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher English. I have a 120+ hour TEFL qualification which allows me to teach English as a foreign language online, in this country, or abroad. This qualification included 50-hr TEFL, 30-hr Grammar & Language Awareness, 20-hr Video Observation, 10-hr Telephone Teaching and 10-hr Teaching Large Classes Courses. The telephone teaching section of the course covered online teaching such as making lessons engaging.

Hello there! My name is Blessy I am currently a third-year medical student. I have had previous experience tutoring children of all ages in person and two years on the GoStudent platform. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
