I have five years experience of tutoring Maths and Physics. I have also taught A-level Maths lessons in a sixth form whilst a qualified teacher was observing the lesson. During this experience I learnt how to develop different explanations for the same concept on the spot and this has been a very useful skill. I use this experience during my lessons and am able to adapt to individual students quickly. I like to make my lessons interactive and write on an online whiteboard in real time so that the student can actively take notes. I use a stylus to write on an online whiteboard which allows the lessons to be more efficient. I emphasize understanding of a concept during my lessons, a high level of understanding will allow students to apply what they have learnt in their exams. I am currently a Theoretical Physics Student at Royal Holloway University of London and wish to become a Professor of Mathematic Physics. I am very good at simplifying difficult concepts and explaining them in a visual way, it is difficult to get this level of understanding in schools and I well help compensate this. I will use my years of experience study physics and maths to teach the concepts in the most efficient and useful way possible. I enjoy tennis, football, badminton and basketball. I've captained my school teams in Badminton and Cricket. I also enjoy running and aim to run the London marathon next year so I have to train very hard. Studied GCSEs in London where I obtained eight grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 7, an A* in Further Mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I also studied my A-levels in London where I obtained 3A*s and 2A's in Maths, Further Maths, EPQ, Physics and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at Royal Holloway University of London.

I'm Joe and I'm an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham. Along side studying for my degree, I enjoy learning languages, such as Catalan, in the hopes of travelling the world in the future. Likewise, I have a passion for baking (although I don't always get the time) as it's a great way to keep busy and getting some delicious food! I always struggled in school, often being below average at most subjects and not understanding concepts. When I got to GCSE level, my maths teacher made everything so much clearer when she explained things and I quickly began to rise in knowledge. She made me realise how important it is to have someone who is patient and will help you to understand any concept you're struggling with. Hello! I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham with a passion for learning and helping others. When I'm not immersed in my studies, I enjoy dancing and playing badminton to stay active and refreshed. I'm excited about the opportunity to tutor and share my knowledge, aiming to make complex subjects more understandable and enjoyable for my students. I completed my A-levels at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School, where I studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, achieving grades of A*, A*, and A respectively.
