I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge studying history. In my passion for the humanities and the liberal arts, I hope to inspire younger students to achieve their potential in their studies. I will be teaching English and History for A-level and younger. My speciality is Asian and World Empires from the Middle Ages to the early modern era. I have a foundation in modern European history, from the World Wars to the Cold War, and British political history from 1900 onwards. My dissertation is focusing on the perception of Rome in film.

Hi, I’m Christle Marie Caparas, a passionate educator who loves teaching Mathematics and English. I aim to make learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience by tailoring lessons to my students’ unique needs. I break down complex Math topics like quadratic equations into simpler concepts and encourage creativity through writing activities. My mission is to build students' confidence and inspire a love for learning by fostering curiosity and critical thinking. I also strive to create a supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and have over 8 years of experience tutoring and conducting workshops for kids and adults. I’ve taught high school Math at the university level for 3 years and spent another 3 years teaching primary students in an international school, specializing in Singapore Math. My time as part of a publication allowed me to hone my journalism and creative writing skills, which I integrate into my teaching to make lessons engaging and practical. My diverse teaching background enables me to combine academic rigor with creativity, empowering students to excel while enjoying the learning process.

I have a strong belief that one of the first steps in becoming a good performer in Maths and Science at any stage requires confidence first and foremost in your ability that you can succeed at it even, if you are not doing so now. I hope that through this experience you will increase your confidence and love for any subject that you may need help with so that you will excel in it. I understand the struggles students can have with Maths because I once struggled with it. This was until I learnt through meeting some aspirational tutors that no one is inherently bad at Maths, but that they may have had the wrong guidance. I hope that together, we will be the right solution to your mathematical problems. I have always loved(or at least appreciated when times get hard) the importance of Chemistry Biology and Physics. But I know it takes a lot of work and commitment in understanding and applying it. I again hope that even if you don't grow to love it you will still appreciate its importance in the life we live through your studies. In my free time, I enjoy singing in my choir and crocheting. I will do the very best to help you and give you advice that you will be able to apply in many aspects throughout your life and not only at this stage.

Hello, I'm Daryl, a passionate educator dedicated to teaching English and Mathematics. I aim to connect with students, helping them understand the application of these subjects and appreciate their beauty and relevance in their daily lives. I ensure my students are engaged, from lesson objectives to feedback. I believe that meaningful connections foster a love of learning and establish independent study habits for life. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. My teaching experiences include Elementary and Junior High School English and Mathematics, as well as Economics. I also lead a small music band, teaching children to play the drums and guitar, performing at school events. Through these experiences, I've learned to cater to multiple learning styles and communicate effectively with students.
