I am currently an Investment Analyst. I did my degree in Accounting and Finance with a year of studies abroad. I currently have a Master's degree in Finance. I am very enthusiastic about numbers and have spent years volunteering abroad teaching maths and also providing one-to-one maths tutoring in my community and in tutoring centers. I do all I can to tailor the structure of the tutoring to the need of all my students. Alongside providing tutoring to students, I do provide Maths tutoring to adults who require a maths certificate for a given profession. I am familiar and confident with the GCSE maths curriculum and with my strong background in accounting and finance, I am able to support anyone who needs help in understanding the principles and all the modules in Accounting and finance, and also supporting them with coursework and dissertations. I currently work remotely and therefore able to work on Zoom with any student during this pandemic. I am easy to talk to and always endeavor to understand all my students from the onset. I am a certified TESOL teacher who studied English at college, and law and business studies at university. I spent three years teaching English in Tokyo, Japan - first for a language school and then in business. Since returning to the UK, I have taught for many different companies and also as a private home tutor. I'm used to teaching adults and children of all ages and am accustomed to working towards examinations. As a tutor, it's important that my student feels comfortable and has confidence in my abilities to help them progress so I have a relaxed manner when teaching but with an eye on reaching targets. So we will look at the areas where you need help, look at your existing approach to learning and work out strategies to get you where you need to be. I enjoy writing and sometimes write content for websites. I'm also great at watching tennis - not so good at playing though. I spent lockdown doing a lot of baking with friends online and caught up on watching some of the films that I'd always been meaning to watch. Now that the world is opening up again, I'm keen to do some travelling and hopefully some watersports - two other passions of mine. I look forward to meeting you, to teaching you and to helping you!

My name is Morayo and I'm a 5th year medical student in Bulgaria (born and raised in England). As much as Biology is my strong suit, I have a great appreciation for all things relating to Philosophy and Sociology. Usually my tutorials consist of going through questions on the student's chosen topic(s) together to build confidence and understanding. However, I am very flexible and can give more in-depth explanations of concepts, go through past exam papers, help with homework, or anything else that will support the student to achieve their personal best. I am happy to help learners from KS3 up to GCSE, including adults who may be taking their exams later in life. Additionally, I have some experience with learners who have additional learning needs, such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have been tutoring high school students since September 2022 and previously tutored undergraduate maths for three years. I have a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Modern Applications of Mathematics from the University of Bath.
