I am a psychology student at the University of Sussex. I am currently on a placement year. I am a dance captain at university, as I have been dancing for 16 years. It is my biggest passion and I love helping others explore their love of dance. I am a confident and outgoing individual who loves listening to music and exploring the outdoors with friends!

Hello! Thank you for reading my profile, I'm Abbie, a postgrad student in Japanese and Chinese translation. I am passionate about teaching and motivating my students to branch out from topics typical at school. My key aims in all lessons are to make steps towards building students' confidence in the desired subject and building upon academic skills to feel prepared for exams or tests. I strive to ensure my students enjoy each lesson, feel safe in my lesson space and feel comfortable asking and discussing anything about the subject. I plan my lessons to fit each student's style of learning and interests for example studying the history of manga in Japanese lessons or diving into the world of gothic literature in English lessons - there is something for everyone! I can help with exam preparation and practice and provide extra support/materials for personal study. Subjects I teach (up to GCSE): English Language and Literature, English as a Second Language, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Welsh I have been tutoring for over 3 years now, both abroad and in the UK. I have experience working with students of all ages and with different abilities (including language abilities). I have N3 proficiency in Japanese and high proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (traditional and simplified).

Hi, my name is Hummad, and I am a 5th year medical student at Leicester University. In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing sports, in particular football and cricket I am interested in tutoring because I remember receiving a lot of helpful information during my time at GCSE, and I would like to share that on to those who may be struggling.

About me: I am a Biotechnology Masters graduate. I grew up in England with regular trips to Finland to see my family. As for my hobbies I enjoy Rock climbing and scuba diving when I have the time.
