I am fluent in English, Igbo, Hausa, and a little Korean I am looking to tutor students who need support in mathematics (low level up to GCSE) and Physics (up to GCSE level). Let's make it work together! I am a Master's student (in Quantum Technology) at the University of Glasgow. I studied physics during my undergrad and I have taught math and Physics up to the secondary level(2017- current). Before my master's I was working as a Graduate Assistant at the Federal University of Lafia(2020-current). I have experience with AQA, Edexcel, and OCR (foundation and Higher). Hi there! I'm Emily and I'm from the UK. Lessons with me as your tutor will be interactive and dynamic. Whichever the subject is, I will be ensuring that I cater the content of my lessons to your individual needs. During the lessons, we will be utilising a variety of learning techniques, such as discussions, quizzes and PowerPoint lectures. Alongside my academic studies, I have always worked hard to support myself. These roles have predominantly been working with children in the psychological field but also online tutoring. I have 4 years of experience teaching English online as a Foreign Language and 1.5 years of experience online tutoring in psychology and sociology. I enjoy helping people. I want to become a consummate professional in this field. I am a reliable, dedicated and hard-working individual. This is proven by my academic history, which includes eleven GCSEs, three A-Levels, a degree in Psychology at the undergraduate level and a master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Hi! I am a second year studying Biology and Economics at the University of Exeter. I completed Maths, Biology, and Economics A-Level and received 3 A*'s. I am a very chatty character that loves working with younger children. I have a creative mind and love finding new ways to make learning more fun. I prefer teaching 11+ and 13+ exams and can also tutor up to maths GCSE. I have volunteered as a tutor before and skyped children in Kenya to teach them basic Maths and English. This sparked my passion for teaching, I really enjoy getting to know my students and learning about their different hobbies and I will try to incorporate this into my lesson time to make it even more fun!
