I am a tutor as I want to enhance the learning of pupils and help them achieve their academic potential. I graduated with a first class in physics and am now undertaking a masters degree in mathematics and computing. I have strong interests in maths, physics and computing. I also enjoy finance, history and engineering but these are not my areas of expertise.

I am a student at the University of Oxford studying French and Spanish. I have been a tutor for nearly 3 years now in both languages. I love helping to progress other students' language skills in a fun, creative and engaging way that challenges and helps them to develop their spoken, written, reading and listening abilities. I studied at The Abbey School, Reading. I achieved 44/45 in the International Bacceleaureate. My higher levels were French, History and Spanish (7, 7, 7). My standard levels were English (literature & language), Maths (AI) and Sports Science (7, 7, 7). I also completed my GCSEs here. I am now studying French and Spanish at the University of Oxford.

Subjects I teach: -Lower Level: Maths, sciences, and the 11+ -GCSE: Maths, Biology, Chemistry, physics -I am able to tailor my teaching to various exam board specifications. -My preferred age group is primary and GCSE. I'm currently a medicine student, with previous tutoring experience. I am regarded as a friendly, approachable, and helpful individual with effective listening and communication skills. I tailor my teaching methods to my student's abilities and their personal preferences. I consistently try to make my teaching approach as enjoyable as possible. Hi! I'm Lucia and I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester. I tutor GCSE and A level Maths. I have been a tutor for 3 years. Having recently completed my exams, I have up-to-date knowledge of current exam formats and a strong grasp of effective exam techniques, along with insights into what examiners prioritise. I am passionate about your education and believe in being life-long learners. I would love to help students achieve their goals, whether that may be overcoming difficult concepts or achieving a higher grade. I am currently a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Manchester. I have experience with OCR A level Biology and Chemistry and Edexcel Maths for GCSE and A level. I achieved 3 A*s in my A-levels for Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I also achieved 10 GCSE’s which were all 8-9 grades.
