Hello, I’m Phila-Mae Arcenal. I’m TEFL certified, with nearly 6 years of experience in the ESL field, including 3 years of online teaching. One of my most rewarding experiences has been tutoring a Korean student whom I’ve taught since she was just 7 years old—she’s now 13. In addition to teaching English, I also assist her with various other school subjects. Teaching is truly a passion of mine because it allows me to share my knowledge while also learning from my students. Each interaction enriches my perspective, and I always strive to make learning engaging and impactful for all of my students.

I am a 2nd year medical student who is dedicated and determined to helping others reach their goals, improve their confidence and help people enter exam season feeling prepared. I have 3 years experience in tutoring so I am very comfortable with all exam boards at GCSE and A level. I help my students by giving them tips on how to answer exam questions and ways to maximise their marks as well as just understanding the content. Hi. I have been a maths tutor for the last 3 years. Fun fact: Teaching maths is just one of my passions - I am also a certified commercial pilot waiting to join an airline.
