I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. To keep parents and guardians involved, I communicate regularly through multiple channels and hold conferences as needed to discuss individual progress, aligning with school requirements and ensuring a collaborative approach to each student's development.

I am a master’s student at the University of York in legal and political theory, I hold my undergraduate degree in law from the University of Warwick. In my free time I enjoy running, cooking, reading and photography. I have over two years’ experience in tutoring and am passionate about education. The University of Warwick; LLB in Law (2020-2024). Whilst at Warwick I organised the first ever Warwick Law Summit, completed a summer research project and presented my dissertation at an undergraduate conference. Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I love seeing wonderful personalities and interests come through, so I look forward to meeting you soon! Outside of tutoring, I am involved in marketing communications. In my spare time I like to watch movies, videos on dog grooming, skincare & perfumes, spend time with friends and bake (when I can).
