Hello, I'm Anum. I am currently a BSc Psychology student at Birmingham City University, and I have had 2 years of experience working in the field of education. During this time, I've had the privilege of working with students of various age groups and skill levels, from primary to secondary school. I truly believe that every student has the potential to excel when provided with the right guidance and support. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically and personally. I'm here to assist you in achieving your academic goals, whether it's improving your understanding of a challenging subject, preparing for exams, or honing your study skills. I am currently studying towards a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences. I love to read, play badminton and cook in my free time. I am hoping to continue in the field of medical research. I am keen to assist students in Maths and Biology as these are subjects I have always been passionate about. I studied at Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for both my GCSEs and my A levels. I have recently graduated with a First Class Bachelors of Science with honours degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology. I have completed an MRes in Cardiovascular Sciences in 2023 and am working towards a PhD in Bleeding Disorders with Unknown Causes.
