Hi there! I'm Alexis, and I'm known for being a bubbly and patient person. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of helping students at all levels achieve their goals and increase their confidence in maths and sciences! Lately, my focus has been on GCSE level students, where I've made it a priority to familiarise my students with the exam structure and questions as well as equipping them with effective strategies to tackle complex problems so they can approach their exams with confidence. Organisation is one of my key traits, so I often create personalised revision schedules and checklists for my new students to ensure they stay on track. I have a friendly and approachable teaching style, and so I tend build strong relationships quickly. When it comes to topics, my favourites are algebra, trigonometry, and energetics, and I'm experienced in teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, and AS in Maths and Sciences. Now, a bit about me outside of teaching! I have a passion for martial arts and regularly train japanese jiu-jitsu. In the past, I also used to wrestle (family thing). During weekends, you'll often find me immersed in activities such as painting acrylic landscapes, pursuing crafts, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. Recently, I've taken up a new hobby of learning skipping rope tricks. It's always great to have some fun activities outside of academics! I hope this gives you a friendly and engaging overview of my background and interests. I'm excited to meet and help your children excel in their studies!

My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods. I look forward to helping all those who wish to practice and improve their English vocabulary, fluency and grammar with whatever else i can do to make those who wish to learn English feel more comfortable and confident. I look forward to our future learning experiences together. As i mentioned earlier i have studied in four different schools and one college in England. My grades were as follows ; English - C (Pass) Science - B (Merit) Art Graphics - C (Pass) WoodWork - C (Pass) Grades at College ; Diploma in Mathematics Functional Skills - Pass Diploma in Multi-Skills for the Construction Industry - Pass Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery - Pass I also very much enjoy learning instruments. I do not have any official grades yet it is a passion of mine and an important part of my life. I am One of Jehovahs Witnesses and for many years i have taught lessons to people of the public about the Bible voluntarily . I have been to a one week course in how to teach the Bible Effectively. I have also been on a two week course in learning Tagalog as for a short period in my life i and my family was contacting and teaching those from the Philippines in my hometown in England. As you can see my lives training has not been focused on English teaching. Yet now it is and consequently i am trying my best to be the best teacher i can be. I hope you can see the varied jobs and training i have received. Also my varied experience. One common thread through my life is i enjoy learning and sharing what i have learnt with others.
