I am a highly motivated individual, who has recently graduated with a BSc Law degree at Aston University. I have always loved the idea of teaching and have previous experience to portray this. I volunteered at Hamilton special school whilst studying at Sixth Form as well as tutoring younger students in my school. It was a rewarding experience which is why I have decided to tutor students part time. The subjects in which I am interested in tutoring are as follows: English Language and Literature at Secondary school level English Language and Literature to adult learners English as a foreign language to all ages As for my GCSE results, I received an A* for English language and an A for English literature. For my A-levels I studied English language and literature where I obtained a grade B. I have also recently completed my BSc Law degree and graduated in July. I will be working towards my masters in September.

I am an English Intervention Tutor in a UK secondary school, with a BA in English with Creative Writing. I have a National Tutoring Programme certificate and I am also TEFL qualified. I have over two years’ experience of tutoring and over two years’ experiences as a TEFL teacher. I know that the road to higher education is not easy. In fact, GCSE and A-level years were really tough for me. I know things can be overwhelming at this level and I aim to do everything I can to help students along the way. With lots of hard work, I managed to achieve A*s in both A Level and GCSE English. I also achieved best in my year in my undergraduate degree. I would love to use the skills I have learnt to help students achieve the grades they want. I will personalise the lesson to you and your particular exam specification. I will do my own homework for each lesson, making sure I am familiar with mark schemes and set texts. For TEFL students, I take a personal approach, assessing your most important goals and tailoring lessons to these goals. I try to incorporate elements of reading, writing and speaking into each lesson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, learning Spanish and watching football. I promise to be a reliable, hard-working and personal tutor.
