Hi! I'm Natalie, and I'm a 20-year old Politics student currently in my second year at Aberystwyth University. I'm offering tutoring for English (GCSE), Maths (at primary level), History (GCSE) and 11+ entrance exams. Though I might be young, I'm well-qualified, with 3 A Levels (ABB, History/Latin/Gov't & Politics) and 11 GCSEs (inc. Maths, English Language and English Literature). My education informs my style of teaching; thorough and clear, but always engaging and adaptive. I have experience with most of the major exam boards' course content, including AQA, WJEC and OCR. I'm originally from Liverpool, and attended The Blue Coat School in Wavertree for my secondary and sixth form education. I come from a disadvantaged background, and this helps me to understand the needs of students struggling with their education, emotions or engagement with others; I believe it is just as important to understand and connect with students as it is to help them achieve their potential. I tutor both at primary and GCSE level, but I have most experience in tutoring for 11+ exams; my secondary school was a selective grammar school, which I gained entry to in the top band. I am very familiar with the content of these exams and the techniques that can be used to prepare well for them. Outside of my work and studies, I'm engaged in politics, I like to keep fit and I enjoy a game of chess (this is not to say I win as often as I'd like, however!) Most importantly, I try to enjoy the time I spend doing anything, and I always strive for it to be the same for my students by making enjoyable and engaging lessons for them. My aim is to make hard work feel easy, and I look forward to meeting you to get started! I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Politics in my second year. My formal qualifications are as follows; - At A Level; A in History, B in Government and Politics, B in Latin - At GCSE; 11 GCSEs (9-1 grading scheme) including 8 in History and Maths and 6 in both English Language and Literature Additionally, I have around two and a half years of volunteer experience working with vulnerable adults as a foodbank assistant in Liverpool.

Hi - I'm Maria! I have just finished my degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield and I love Science. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge, owning a YouTube channel in which I make A Level Biology revision videos. Aside from academics, my main passion is Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and I train up to 10 times per week!! I hope to fight professionally one day. My favourite artist is Green Day. I have just graduated from an MBiolSci degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield. I also have A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish. Hi there! My name is Sahil, a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Warwick studying Economics. I have been tutoring students online in Maths, Physics and Economics from all over the world for over 2 years in interactive and engaging 1:1 lessons. My teaching style focuses on learning content first before applying it to questions. Therefore, lessons will consist of content learning which includes detailed notes on the topic and in-depth walkthroughs of every single question type relating to that topic. This would be followed by practise questions on that topic first with assistance in the lesson and then homework to be completed without assistance to test if the teaching has been successful. I particularly specialise in exam preparation and give my students regular tests to ensure content learned is tested throughout, this way there is less stress on crammed revision which has been proven to boost exam performance. I have tutored Maths from KS3 all the way up to GCSE and A-Level and I also specialise in Further Maths tuition. I have also tutored in Economics at A-Level. Through my experience over the last 2 years, I am up to date with most exam board content and curriculum changes so my lessons are completely relevant to current mark schemes. In an exam environment where it is even harder to get the top grades due to the consequences of grade inflation over the past few years, I would love the opportunity to really help and push your child to achieve their full potential in their studies.
