My name is John, I am from England but currently live in Switzerland. I am a qualified CELTA teacher and teach English to both adults and children. I focus on helping the student to get the best out of my lessons by tailoring my programme to your needs. I also have taught psychology at GCSE and A level and can help students with this subject. Additionally, I support non-native speakers on degree courses in family therapy, psychology and psychotherapy. I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool in 1988. I also have a Master's degree in Social Work from Sussex University in 2000. I have additional post graduate qualifications in child protection and child psychotherapy.

A tutor in Maths and Science. I have a passion for understanding and enjoy watching the moment something seems to click for a student. In my free time I enjoy reading fanfiction and listening to podcasts, especially podcasts about philosophy and scepticism.

I am 20 years old and currently an undergraduate student at Edinburgh Napier University studying English and Film. I am from the Highlands of Scotland so I am familiar with the SQA exam board. However, I am also capable of teaching my subjects to students that belong to different exam boards. I can teach from the ages of 9-17. Aside from my studies, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and baking in my spare time. I am currently in my second year of University at Edinburgh Napier and study English and Film. I have an Advanced Higher qualification in English and have Higher qualifications in; English, History, RMPS, Philosophy, Graphic Communications and Design and Manufacture.

Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.
