Hi, I'm Hannah and I'm a medical student at the University of Sheffield. I studied biology, chemistry, physics and maths at A-level, whilst enjoying creative extracurricular activities. I love sharing my passion for my subject and I hope you can see this through my teaching! I achieved all grade A's in my A-Levels, and all grade 8's and 9's in my GCSEs. I also achieved my grade 8 in both violin and piano, as well as intermediate (level 3) in ballet and tap. Having completed work experience both online and in person I can work well in a professional environment, whilst still being engaging and approachable for my students. I developed these people skills through my working as a teaching assistant at my dance school for a group of young adults with various physical and learning disabilities.

I am a British international Teacher with many years of teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools in London. I have found that teaching smaller groups online allows me to focus on the individual student's goals. Additionally, this allows me to build a relationship of trust and confidence. I love supporting my students in becoming fluent speakers. I like engaging my students and encouraging them to ask questions, speak freely, and have fun while learning. I am passionate about helping non-native speakers to learn English, which in turn allows them to dream with enthusiasm. Lastly, I love to support my students to become confident, independent learners. Additionally, I strive to empower my students to be critical thinkers and to dream with enthusiasm. Simply put, I love teaching and I find it immensely rewarding. Lower Level: Beginner's Japanese, Beginner's French, Beginner's Russian GCSE: French, Russian, Japanese, English Language A-Level: English Language, Russian, Japanese Exam Board Experience: AQA: French, English Language Edexcel: Japanese, Russian Languages: British English (native speaker), Japanese (N3 certificate and university level, estimated B2), Russian (university level, estimated B2/C1), French (A-Level) Preferred Student Age Group: GCSE/A-Level (Any) About me: I'm an enthusiastic language student, musician and budding fantasy-sci-fi writer set to graduate this winter with at least a 2:1 in Japanese and Russian from the University of Leeds. During my studies, I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to help people in Japan and Russia improve their English skills so I understand how daunting languages can be. Whether you're hoping to improve your school grades, preparing for your exams, or just curious about learning a new language, I can tailor our classes to focus on the areas of language you struggle with the most and encourage relaxed communication from the start so you have the confidence to more freely use either your French, Japanese or Russian. I can also aid in English Language, particularly at A-Level.
