University Instructor, guiding BA students in foundational English courses, and PhD Scholar in English -Preferred Age Group: Above Year 6 (Native & EFL/ESL) -Main Focus: AQA/OCR/Edexcel GCSE, AS, and A Levels -IELTS exam board In my four years of teaching, I’ve noted that most GCSE students overlook contextual understanding, critical thinking, time management, study habits, exam techniques, expression, and real-life application. With over 60 students in 2024, I’ve developed a unique program to support them both theoretically and practically in their language and literature studies. Simply put, I know what I'm doing. Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I recently published my thesis on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my recent research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. In my free time, I’m captivated by football, traveling, and a bit of gaming, which provides a refreshing break from my scholarly activities. ✩Valedictorian Education: PhD Candidate MA High distinction researcher: Sociopragmatics & Classroom Research ✩Attained the top position in Bachelor's degree studies specializing in English Linguistics and Literature ✩Secured the highest ranking in both Masters 1 and Masters 2 studies focusing on Linguistic Research ✩Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Education and recipient of a Teaching Diploma (Masters 1) Participation in Seminars/Webinars: • Attended Oxford University Press' Webinar on Writing Approaches with Fusion in Mind • Engaged in Noam Chomsky's Webinar addressing Modern Linguistics • Actively participated in Stephen Krashen's Webinar discussing Writing and Publishing • Enriched understanding through "The Art of Complaint: Managing Conflicts" seminar • Explored Nonviolent Communication in a dedicated session • Conducted a seminar focused on the topic of Linguistic Sexism

GCSE: Chemistry & Maths Exam Board Experience: AQA Preferred Student Age Group: GCSE or KS3 About Me: A graduate Medical Biochemistry student at the University of Manchester and a current Cancer Molecular Pathology and Therapeutics student at the University of Leicester. I am passionate about helping my peers as well as others to succeed in areas they are struggling in. I have been a regular tutor for GoStudent since 2021. I have had experience in teaching a class of around 25 students mental maths skills in secondary school. Furthermore, in college I was chosen to be a student mentor for first year chemistry students when I was in my second year where I was their first point of contact when they were struggling to understand a concept that they had learnt in class.
